Dylan Gentilcore was hired to lead the UW-River Falls Esports program in August of 2022, set to begin its inaugural varsity season in 2023-24.
A native of Carmel, Ind., Gentilcore came to River Falls as a Co-Director of the Indiana Esports Network and the founder, coach, and director of the esports program at Carmel High School, developed in 2018.
As a founding member of the Indiana Esports Network, Gentilcore led and developed esports competitions for all Indiana secondary schools, and oversaw all sponsorships, recruitment, tournament organization, and more.
At Carmel, Gentilcore coached over 100 student-athletes with more than 20 rosters annually and won over 40 national and regional championships including 32 Indiana state championships. In addition to his esports coaching at Carmel, he taught communication, literature & theatre, and was the debate coach.
Gentilcore graduated with honors from Indiana State University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in theatre and went on to receive a master's degree in secondary education at Earlham College in 2017.
After a successful career spanning collegiate, Tier 2, and even Tier 1 professional Call of Duty, Quinn is starting her first season as Call of Duty coach for UWRF Esports. Hailing originally from Stillwater, Minn., Quinn actively supports the local esports scene through her work to grow Call of Duty esports in Minnesota as well as being an active fan of the Minnesota Rokkr CDL team.
A Class of 2023 alumnus, Vincent is excited to be back at UWRF coaching both of our first Overwatch 2 varsity rosters. Vinny is a former console grandmaster tank player turned PC Reinhardt enjoyer that still reminisces about the days of the GOATS meta. More recently, he led UWRF's first ever club Overwatch 2 team to a NACE Open Plus divisional final in his final semester as a student.
